Each of the 48 clubs in District 39W chooses their own projects, based on their community needs.  The fundraisers and service projects are as varied and individual as the club members themselves, but all focus on the Lions' motto:  "We Serve".

All the clubs participate in the following activities:  eyeglass and hearing aid recycling, vision and hearing screening with the Mobile Screening Unit, assistance with eye exam and eyeglass purchases, donations to Lions Clubs International Foundation, the Idaho/E. Oregon  Lions Sight and Hearing Foundation, and to their local communities.
