Welcome to new member Irene Qualman.  Dealt three more casinos!  New member Mary Zahm trained interested club members on how to deal craps and roulette.  Planned Fundraiser for Kalia Grace Clark, in conjunction with Harley Owners and VFW. Purchased another coupon book for eyeglasses for LensCrafters. Plans for MSU and Vision Van. Four members attended Midwinter Conv.  Planning Charter Party. Angie won Best Taste in the Hors D'Oeuvre contest at convention.

January

Jack & Jeannine Benson participated in weekly meetings of the Puerto Penasco, Mexico, Lions Club. They also helped that club to raise money locally for an eye screening machine and to put on a Coronation Ball.  Back in Boise, the club was busy putting on three casinos.  Guest speaker was Susan Hazelton from Court Appointed Special Advocates. Taryn Shemwell talked on Ambassador Program. Club gave her $500 to attend.

December

Put on casino for 325 Grove Hotel Employees.  Presented Garden City Senior Citizens with Christmas gifts.  Netted 300 pair of glasses and four hearing aids from boy scout project we supported.  Participated in Gift of Sight and Lift Up America events.  Welcomed four new members.  Set tentative date for 13th Charter Party.
